Parental rights in the UK workplace: an opportunity for employers to give their views on potentially major changes to existing structures.
The government has recently published a consultation paper “Good Work Plan: proposals to support families.” Some of the considerations are:
- How parental leave and pay should be structured between father and mother.
- What, if any, should be prioritised?
- The level and type of support required.
- Should there be a complete overhaul of existing structures?
