The sun shone down in Istanbul for the 2024 Hotel Industry Rewards Group EMEA Conference. 34 HR & Reward professionals from 22 hospitality companies joined us to review trends in compensation and benefits, and to roundtable topics such as cost of living, hyperinflation, wellbeing in the workplace, flexible working, and the EU pay transparency directive. The 3-day conference finished with a walking tour and boat ride on the Bosphorus, as well as dinner and networking with old friends and colleagues.
A big thank you to Julia Miller for chairing the HIRG EMEA group, Julia Miller and Natalie Cowell for hosting, and Kostas Nikolaidis for providing insight into the broader operational environment.
